RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY & ADVENTURE PARK OPEN PRACTICE A HUGE SUCCESS

A solid field of race cars filled the pit area for the first official practice day of the season on Saturday, May 7th. Cars from every division were on hand to shake down the mounts, and several of them were fast right from the get go.

One car that was extremely fast was the #8, 350 Super Modified driven by Brad Sanborn out of Hiram, Maine. He was turning some blistering laps very close to the track record.

Another machine, that being the #02 Late Model of Randy Potter, the legend of Groveton, New Hampshire was super quick and handled very well right out of the box. Potters car, formerly the ride of Wayne Helliwell Jr. should be a strong contender for the 2022 championship.

Doug Collins from Orleans, Vermont debut a brand new #8 Cyclone Stock 4’s class car and was very, very strong as he clearly was the class of the field on this day. He is hoping to be near the front week in and week out all season. A solid field of Cyclone Stock 4’s spent the day dialing in their racers and several were picking up many seconds as the day went on.

Next up is the NAPA All Star Spectacular weekend beginning on Friday, May 13th.
