Young Miller Buzzell picked up his first main event victory of the season in the M.H. Humphrey Lil Rascals dwarf car division at Riverside Speedway.Buzzell and young Paxton Call waged an early race side by side battle for the lead with Buzzell getting out front at the halfway point of the race. 2020 Lil Rascal’s Champion Roger Edgecomb, drove up through the field to pick up second place and Colebrook’s Eric Hall got the third spot. The Bad Boy Mowers of Morrisville 4 cylinder bonestocks had two and three wide racing all through the field. Garrett Labounty got out front in his #76 and drove to his first victory of the season. Maine’s Nick Ogden ended the race in second with Doug Collins finishing in the third spot. The new R.N. Craft Street Stocks saw a couple new cars this week as Mike Humphrey hopped a ride in a friend’s #39 and picked up the win. Maine’s Todd Libby finished the night in second with Groveton’s Nick Gilcris bringing his #2 in for third. Later on in tech, Humphrey was DQ’d. The Claudette and Deans place Dare Devils had a great night of racing as Groveton’s Conner Charboneau put his D&S Auto #6 in victory lane. Gorham's Revin Evan Gilbert bounced back from a disappointing finish last week to finish in second, with Conway N.H. Alexis Lundblad coming in for third. The Creative Counters Late Models had a great run with point leader Corey Mason getting the win in his #1 machine.Groveton’s Mike Kenison came through the field to end the night second, with Barre VT. Mike Bailey finished third in his first visit to Riverside this year. The EKeys4Cars Formula Fours had two features this week and Young Mekaylah Bowen had her #12 on a rail as she drove up the outside groove and around Ryan Heuser for the lead and the win. Heuser ended the race second with Derby VT. Brendan Rhodes finished third. In the second Formula Four main event Brendan Rhodes got to the front first and claimed his first career main event win. Ryan Heuser drove the #38 up to
finish in second with Bryan Putney coming across the line in the third spot. Riverside will not have oval track racing over the labor day weekend but will host a big drift racing competition.
