Jon Brill made the long tow from Turner, Maine worthwhile as he captured the 50 lap main event at Riverside Speedway & Adventure Park in Groveton N.H. Saturday night. The caution flew four times during the event. Brill got the lead at the 12 lap mark and survived three restarts to get the win. Shawn Knight also from Maine brought the #25 home in the 2nd spot while hometown driver Nic Gilcris crossed the finish line totally sideways in a whole gaggle of cars and after scoring was sorted out, Gilcris was awarded the 3rd place finish.
In Formula Four action, Groveton’s Chris Caron picked up his second win of the season, Claremont N.H.’s Erin Aiken came back from an early spin to finish second, and Ray King elected to start off the rear and brought the #15 all the way to a 3rd place finish.
The SMAC 350 Supermodifieds brought nine cars and a whole lot of speed to Riverside Speedway Saturday night. Cornish, ME’s Brenna Humphrey got the heat win, and in the thirty lap main event Bobby Chartier from Litchfield N.H. put the Chartier towing #29 in victory lane. Dave Helliwell picked up the second spot, and Les Keyser finished third in the #27.
The six and eight-cylinder Bone Stocks saw Mike Sherburne in the #83 Camaro got the win with Jason Ball finishing second, and Stephanie Welcome came home in the third spot.
Twenty-one four-cylinder Bone Stocks took to the track for their 20 lap main event, and Ryan Heuser got his second main event win of the season. After the dust had settled, 2019 Bone Stock champ Nic Ogden got the second place trophy and Travis Moulton after taking a year off from racing, jumped into the Kevin Barrup machine, and came in with a fine third-place finish.
In the Claudette and Dean’s Place DareDevil division, Revin Evan Gilbert made it three for three in the rookies. Waterford, Maine’s Brady Heath, got the win in the DareDevil veterans.
